Thank you for yor kind words. Chris and I are both doing well. All caccinated up, both shots, so are as safe as can be expected. Hope you and yours are all well?
Colonel Ted, TGHXIX as he was affectionally known, was, and will still remain, one of the greatest Green Howards that ever served. He was faifhful, loyal and a true Green Howard, and would never ask anyone to do something that he would not, or could not, do himself. I served with him for most of my army life and since I have retired we have still crossed paths. I think, if that is possible, that he was more pleased than I was when I was honoured to be awarded the Military Medal on behalf of the The Regiment. He was a great mentor to me and I know that Chris and I will miss him greatly.
Chris and I send our deepest conolences to Julie who will know that he will be sadly missed by by her and all the family, his friends and all the Green Howard family past and present.
Nice words George!
